Thanks Ibrahim - I was hoping this was the case. I have found however, when
searching for USB sound cards, that some seem to only run under 64 bit
machines, and at times info given about products isn't always as clear as it
could be -

  Hi Andy

If the soundcard can run on Vista, Windows 7 or Windows XP that generally
means all versions and less as otherwise stated. The registered you are seeing
is simply a sign, registered trademark and so forth.

  All the best, Abraham.

    Hi all -

I'm looking at USB sound cards, and compatibility. I have found a Creatives
one that is compatible with Windows 7, Vista registered, and XP 64 bit.

This laptop is running Vista home premium, is that different to registered?
