Hi.

Sounds like a video intercept issue. I have heard of certain graphics cards not
working under win10 because manufacturers can't or won't be releasing updated
drivers. He could try installing drivers for windows7/8 then running windows
update to check for driver updates? If he wants a hand troubleshooting, please
don't hesitate to drop me a note off list.

All the best,

Mo.

The start menu under Windows 10 is acting pretty much the same as
Windows 7 using Jaws 17 here.

When I first installed Windows 10 it did not initially pick up all my
apps and tended to direct me to web search results but that has been
resolved now either by my system learning or windows update. I am not
sure which.

Presumably your friend has done the usual of restarting computer etc?

Hi folks,
I'm asking this on behalf of a friend and since I don't use Windows
Ten yet, I'm a bit in the dark. He's using Jaws 17 and says that when
he presses the Windows key to bring up the start menu, Jaws isn't
reading any of the items listed in the start menu.
Does anyone know what's going on here because obviously, if this is a
Jaws thing, he wants to ring Freedom Scientific about it.
If anyone has any info I can pass on to him about this, I'd
appreciate any help, and thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Sandra.
