Hi Sandra,

To be honest, I had this exact thing when I upgraded to Windows 10. I ended
up using the Media Creation Tool which you can download, upgrading, keeping
my personal files, but not programs, and reinstalling them. I now have a
shiny new install of Windows 10 and the start menu works. I don't thtink
this is a JAWS thing.

But always worth ringing S and S, as they can remote into the machine and
take a look, before going this road.

All the best

Subject: [access-uk] Windows Ten Start Menu

Hi folks,
I'm asking this on behalf of a friend and since I don't use Windows Ten yet,

I'm a bit in the dark. He's using Jaws 17 and says that when he presses the

Windows key to bring up the start menu, Jaws isn't reading any of the items
listed in the start menu.
Does anyone know what's going on here because obviously, if this is a Jaws
thing, he wants to ring Freedom Scientific about it.
If anyone has any info I can pass on to him about this, I'd appreciate any
help, and thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Sandra.
