You can certainly open conversation windows with NVDA. However, I don’t know
about actually reading the conversations themselves.

Subject: [access-uk] Windows messenger

I am using JAWS v9 as my default screen reader, but have been advised that in
order to access Windows Messenger I ideally need to upgrade to JAWS 13, an
expense I can't justify just for that facility.
Does anyone access windows messenger using NVDA by any chance? I have installed
the latest version but I am unable to open the conversation window or see
recent messages, so any tips and useful keystrokes would be much appreciated.
