thanks for the info, I will give it a try.

I'm thinking if I don't find a solution to my problem, ought I to reinstall
Word?  Wonder if I can "repair" Office2000?  I think perhaps a call to
George Bell might be in order but first will investigate the other lists to
where I also sent my original message.
