Hi Roger,
Good luck.
I have followed these instructions and the CD will not prompt me to start installation. I have been without Autostart on CD's for some little while now and possibly this is why the CD is not recognised and doing the below is just another normal restart to my machine.
Is there any other way I can access the repair facility of the XP disc? This is a legit commercial product and not a pirate. It has been activated by MS and all critical updates installed upto date including SP2.

Hi Roger,
Having booted from the CD, if you keep going though the process, it should eventually tell you that it has found an existing Operating System, and prompt you to install a completely new one, or overwrite (Repair) the existing one.
George.
