I used the mobile site fine a couple of weeks ago on Mac OS. I think this is www.amazon.co.uk/mobileThe only problem was the purchase button but I used VO Command F5 to bring the mouse and then used shift vo space to execute a mouse click and that worked fine. .
You cannot download music on the mobile site so that is a limitation.I have not used either site recently so will have to look to see if there has been any change.
