i could not agree with you more on that one but it seems quite a drastic step
to uninstall window eyes and then jaws loosing one of the credits maybe if i
had realized how difficult this would be i would have waited longer until the
drivers had been sorted out. of course when i was looking how to go in to the
safe mode on the sense it told me my web browser was out of date then the cd
got stuck in the mac book so, it has just been one of those days.
i do think though really seriously about just using the i devices when you
think what money you spend on window eyes and jaws upgrades alone it's
remarkable. if i could print my invoices and docs that i need for my work and
to be able to use a good keyboard on an i device to do the invoices etc i
really would consider never even upgrading at all to another version of
windows.
i use knfb on the phone which is truly brilliant and only the other day steve
told me about pocket cast on the android and i devices now i will have to wait
for someone who can see to help me out again.
years ago i suppose it was the same in dos and the first lot of windows but one
forgets how lucky we are now.

as i try window eyes the same damn thing happens now i should listen to
what you say take off window eyes which is a pain and also jaws then re
install them both what an abserlute blody pain all this is nvda which costs
nothing will work i cannot make a comment about the newest jaws but i will
have a think to whether to carry on or just go back to windows 7. surley it
must be a driver problem and though as good as our screen readers are isant
it amazing that the free one does work though

oneHi john. I always recommend people uninstall all screen readers apart from
NVDA at least for the upgrade. Then, reinstall windows10 with NVDA set as
your primary screen reader and set to run on startup. After setup via
narrator, you should be good to go with speech again. At that point you can
reinstall jaws, window eyes etc$CheerseaMo$john gallagher
