I'd like to assume this is just a person at Sky who has a lack of knowledge.

Let's face it, most of the people at Sky accessibility hadn't heard of Sky 
Talker, and I'm sure most of them still don't know what it does. It would be

pointless to develop a unit that only reads the next programme. Surely 
techologically speaking it would be no harder to have it read the current 
programme if it can read the next.
