Chris,
I have already used the recovery disk, and reinstalled all files, including the xp home operating system, but still the same error,
Billy

Hi, sounds like your Windows is well and truly corrupt. I'll let the "experts" help you out more though, as I was going to suggest a system recovery, but that's too drastic and should only be performed if all else fails. Good luck.

hi guys,
I'm having a problem booting up my system.
When I turn on the computer system, nothing happens. Well that may be a little wrong. The system begins to boot up, but there is nothing on the monitor screen. It just sits there, with a big black screen.

The system is running xp home, but the problem is the computer doesn't boot to the desktop at all,
Billy
