Kevin,

I think the setting you want is in Control Panel, Accessibility Options.
You then need to check Use Toggle Keys. This does seem to produce a beep
for other toggle keys such as the Ctrl key as well, but at least it works
for caps lock.

Caroline.

hi all, on my old pc, when i pressed the caps lock key, i used to get a
beeping sound, a slightly different sound for on and off. i don't get that
on this pc and i can't find an option anywhere. am i missing something? not
a major problem, but it was helpful, now i don't get any sound at all from
it.
