Thanks Jackie, I guessed that from the feel of it, (smile).

Hi Ted, there's no difference in recording quality between a card and
internal memory, a card just gives you extra capacity. I don't have a 550,
but the DM5 will take up to a 32 gig SDHC. I have a 32 gig class 10 in mine
and it's fine with it.

John,
I have had a DM550 for a little while, so far have only used the internal
memory for recording. What would you say is the advantage of an SD card?
I'm guessing it would have greater capacity, but how does it compare in
terms of recording quality, or ease of use, or anything else?

TIA, Ted.

Hi Brian, you can copy and paste. You don't need to use the software to
transfer. Just remember that if you've got a card in the DM5 the card
will come up in windows explorer as removable disk and the internal
memory will come up as dm5.
