  Hi Edward,

I had trouble downloading the Amazon MP3 downloader, and gave up on buying
downloads from the computer. Now that High Street Options for buying physical
albums is getting like looking for snowploughs in the Sahara, I'm going to have
to think again. Having already ripped an extensive CD collection onto my
computer, I'm reluctant to experience the nightmare of Itunes annexing my music
collection. So, please can someone advise how and where you should instal the
Amazon MP3 Downloader?

  Thanks,
  Clive

    Hi Trace,

You’re correct, music from Amazon downloads as MP3 files.

On your computer, you’ll have the choice to either download your music
directly or play it in the cloud. The Cloud Player on the computer isn’t as
accessible as the version for the iPhone, which works quite well.

In order to directly download music on your computer, you’ll first need to
install the Amazon MP3 Downloader, it will prompt you to do this when you first
buy music.

Another accessible option is downloading music from iTunes.

    Hope that helps.

Hi Not sure about your final statement. It depends on whether ITunes lets
you access the Amazon cloud. Certainly you can import MP3s into Itunes. I also
know you can set the Amazon downloader to open Windows Media Player. There’s
perhaps a possibility that the Amazon Downloader might open up the ITunes
player but I’m not sure.

    hi

i'm thinking of starting to download music, probably from amazon, now i
know they download as mp3's and i believe you can play them on anything you
choose, is this correct, also, i also believe that anything you download
remains available in the amazon cloud, is this correct, if so i believe i can
access the amazon cloud from my iphone and play my music from there, again is
this correct?

i'm already signed up with amazon as my mum all but lives on that site and
ebay lol any how, cani use those details and is there anything else i need to
do?

is there a charge for using the cloud?

sorry for all of the questions
