Hi Trace,

Sorry, yes you can do both. Everything you buy from the Amazon MP3 store stays
on the Cloud even if you download it.

Hi Trace,

You’re correct, music from Amazon downloads as MP3 files.

On your computer, you’ll have the choice to either download your music directly
or play it in the cloud. The Cloud Player on the computer isn’t as accessible
as the version for the iPhone, which works quite well.

In order to directly download music on your computer, you’ll first need to
install the Amazon MP3 Downloader, it will prompt you to do this when you first
buy music.

Another accessible option is downloading music from iTunes.

Hope that helps.

Ed

Hi Not sure about your final statement. It depends on whether ITunes lets you
access the Amazon cloud. Certainly you can import MP3s into Itunes. I also know
you can set the Amazon downloader to open Windows Media Player. There’s perhaps
a possibility that the Amazon Downloader might open up the ITunes player but
I’m not sure.
