Hi,

If you have re-booted and the app re-opens, would the app be set to
automatically open on start-up?
If you open the task manager (either with Ctrl + Alt + Del and press
down 3 times and enter, or Ctrl + Alt + Esc) and navigate to the
start-up Tab, you should be able to modify the start-up items.

it all started this morning when i think mum accidentally caught skype and
so it launched and now we can't get out of it, been online and it mentions
the usual alt f4 working but it doesn't, it just brings up another screen,
