It's ctrl+shift+escape. Then obviously find the offending prog in the list
and do alt + e to end it.

Have you tried closing from the Task Manager? Ctrl+shift+escape will bring
it up.

hi
the usual alt f4 doesn't work so what do i press? can't get a menu
it all started this morning when i think mum accidentally caught skype and
so it launched and now we can't get out of it, been online and it mentions
the usual alt f4 working but it doesn't, it just brings up another screen,
escape doesn't work, there are no menu's and there's no x at the top of the
screen in the right corner which there usually is, next to the minimise and
maximize that the sighted use, we've tried re-booting and alsorts and it
just won't close
