Hi Ian

I have never used iMessage until yesterday and because I couldn’t send a normal
text I had to turn it off. That is why I have no reason to use it.

I still can't understand why anyone would want to turn of iMessage.

Hi Janet.

You can turn off iMessage from the messages options in settings. Go to
settings, then in messages, select off when the on/off label for iMessage is
announced. Please note that this wil disable iMessage for both incoming and
outgoing messages, so anyone wishing to reach you must have your mobile number
in order to contact you; you won’t be reachable otherwise.

All the best, Ibrahim.
