Hi colin, just go into options of MSN Messenger and tell it not to load on
startup. Then, in future, run windows messenger from the start menu.

OK, firstly I'll apologise to one of us in particular.

That done, could someone helpful please help me with the following. I've
XP pro with SP2 and JFW 4.51 running. I had msn 5 and now msn 6.02 and I
want to do the following but need assistance and guidance.

  1. Instal windows messenger and use it as my instant messaging utility.

  2. uninstall msn 6.02 and whatever it leaves in the registry; if this is
needed.

Could someone with the knowledge to help, run through the idiot steps for
me?

  Colin F
