They only do 12 or 18 month contracts, which is no good for someone in temporary accommodation for a few months.

Also, they are owned by BT, which is another minus in my book. Both ISPs are oversubscribed and subject to congestion as well.

The independents are more expensive, but you get a much better service.

Just my opinion.

In addition to my previous email, I'm not the only one to recommend Zen. These are some of their awards.

"We regularly win independent awards that are voted for by our customers. We have recently been awarded PC Pro Best ISP for the eleventh consecutive year. We are also Which? Recommended Broadband Provider for the eighteenth time and in 2013 received our first Which? Recommended Home Phone Services Provider award.

We feel privileged to have a business that has grown primarily through reputation and we are very grateful to all our customers for supporting us over the years and taking the time to vote for us."

*PC Pro Best ISP 2014*

We have received PC Pro Best ISP for the eleventh consecutive time!

Congratulations to Zen Internet. For the 11th consecutive year,
it's picked up PC Pro's reader-voted Excellence Award for the best
broadband in the UK. It's batted aside big players such as BT and
Virgin Media for more than a decade, and even managed to improve
on last year's stellar scores. This year, it topped rivals by a
solid ten percentage points overall, and by even more of a spread
in key categories such as customer support and reliability

Tim Danton, PC Pro

*Comms National Awards Best Channel ISP 2014*

We have received Comms National Best Channel ISP Award

Zen Internet has been awarded Best Channel ISP at the Comms National Awards held on the 16th October 2014. These awards are independently judged by a panel of experts and are backed up by testimonials to recognise vendors for the service and solutions they offer to channel partners.

Covering all areas of the channel, the Awards are intended to reward excellence, inspire companies to improve service levels across the board and recognise the qualities, characteristics and attitudes possessed by people working in the UK ICT channel.

*Which? Recommended Broadband Provider March 2014*

We have received Which? Recommended Broadband Provider status for the seventeenth consecutive time

With the highest customer score (87%) in our whole broadband
survey, Zen Internet truly deserves its Recommended Provider
status. An incredible nine in 10 Zen customers told us they were
satisfied with the service they receive and the company received
excellent ratings for the speed and reliability of its network and
    the customer service it provides.

Which?

Cheers
