Does SuperNova offer the same features in terms of magnification compared to
MAGic or ZoomText? I have no useful vision so can't test this. I just
recall, when navigating the MAGic user interface, as well as read the MAGic
documentation, that the screen can be magnified up to 36 times, a new
feature apparently in MAGic 11.0. Other features include colour
enhancements, focus enhancements, mouse enhancements, different kinds of
"views", quick frames, and I think that's it for the magnification features.
I'm not at my own laptop so can't really recall what other features are
included, however if you go to the MAGic pages on www.freedomscientific.com,
and perhaps download the demo, you can see for yourself what MAGic can
offer. Another good note; if you have JAWS, MAGic will actually work
alongside JAWS. How it works is JAWS provides speech whilst MAGic provides
the magnification. So, for example, when JAWS is reading a web page, MAGic
will highlight the part JAWS reads, and will be synchronized. Anyway, hope
this all helps.
