Hmm, my thoughts are either that the battery is going, or worse, the circuit
board on the milestone is going, rendering computer communications
problematic? Mine went like that, would transfer things, but would stop
playing randomly and refuse to start again without power to it. I almost
had to bumpstart the thing with a power source, even when at full charge.
Came to conclusion circuit board bust, and replaced with another digital
player, which is working fine at the moment.

Hi steve,

Yes tried different u,s,p, ports and yes it's going straight in to the
computer, can't understand as I use a pen drive every day for personal
things.

Hi Susan,

Have you tried it in different USB ports? Are you plugging into a USB hub,
or straight into the machine?

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] milestone

Hi folks,

I have a milestone but for some reason or other when I plug it in to my
computer the computer does not recognise it, but what it does say from time
to time is that the previous time I used the u s b port it malfunctioned,
however I can use my pen drive and external hard drive with no problem.

Can anyone tell me what could be the problem.

Many thanks

susan
