Hi,

This is usually due to a USB port not giving enough power. Or the
Milestone's driver needs to be uninstalled from device manager and
reinstalled.

Another option is to press and hold the four outside buttons, not play as
well, to reset it.

for what it is worth, I have a Milestone 3.11 which will no longer
communicate with the computer, even though it says "Connection
Established". The battery charges up, though.
