It sounds very much like your N73 may be locked out from the specific network
to which your SIM belongs, if you obtained the new phone from your network
provider then you should talk to them about this.

  Subject: [access-uk] n73

  Hi all
I'm using talks with a nokia n73. Each time I turn it on, it askes whether I
wish to stay in off line mode. When I answer no, by pressing key two, it
eventually says that it is unable to go on-line.

The sim card will only fit in one way, so I know its in correctly. I've also
tried making it go on-line when the phone is fully booted up, and it still
won't.

My sim works in my 6630, and this is only a recent problem with my n73.

Does anyone know why this may be happening?

  Any assistance appreciated.

  Terry
