[access-uk] o.e. puzzle

On Christmas eve as I was about to shut down, got the message from o.e. it was going to compact files to free up disk space, I listened to the progress bar and shut down when I thought the process was complete.
When I got back to the program the following day, I found with horror that all my subfolders in my inbox where I save all the tips and tricks I glean from this and other lists had disappeared.
I counted myself lucky, my addressbook was still there.
Since then I've searched for the folders of course and have just discovered that they are stored in a seperate identity in my documents and settings.
This folder seems to be a backup of my own inbox as well.
I've tried to move my old folders back to my own identity but can't find where exactly to put them.
If I switch identity in o.e. I am only given the choice of 2 of them, not 3 as there are in my documents and settings.
Would love to access those files again, especially now I KNOW they are still on my machine, can anyone tell me how to do it?
If I try to open them from Windows explorer, o.e. opens and presents me with my inbox but the old folders are not there to read.

Thanks in advance

Marie
