Hi AlexLike you, I work without sight on web pages, so don't know either. But one tip perhaps to pass on is that my bank advised me many years ago to use a credit card rather than a debit card when ordering online. They explained that you have more protection with a credit card. Their logic was that if you are being defrauded with a debit card, the money will come straight out of your bank account.
I'm not sure how true this is, or whether it was a ploy on their part to get me to use a credit card, but I have since heard that their advice was sound.

Hi I was listening to something on BBC breakfast about the 25% rise incredit/debit card fraud and online fraud. The person being interviewed saidthat if you purchase something online you should generally be safe, particularly so if you see a padlock when you go to the ordering page. I'veheard of SSL security and secure sites, but is there anything else that Ishould watch out for that jaws is telling me. I don't have any sight at allso it sounds as if this padlock thing is an icon or a picture of some sort on screen, so anything that people can give me that reassures me would be gratefully accepted.
