Hello,
I changed it because I thought that they had discontinued the freeserve pop3 server and were redirecting me to orange, but I have since gone back to the freeserve address and that works ok now, so what caused the problem I do not know.

   Best wishes, Tony Pearce

I'm just interested in why you change the pop email address from freeserve
to Orange; I don't know much about this topic, but thought it had to be the
server's name?

| Hello,
| My outlook express has been working ok now for 24 hours, so whatever it
was
| it seems to have been fixed. I did chage the pop email address from
| pop.freeserve.com to pop.orangehome.co.uk, which may have helped.
