Well, yes Katheryne, but to be more accurate the document in these cases 
contains images,
some of which might be pictures, but more likely the images are the actual text 
of a print
document that's been scanned.

Some people manage to extract these images and OCR them in Kertsweile or 
whatever.  Sorry
about my spelling there, but you get the drift no doubt.

If I have a pdf file which, when open, says alert empty document, does this
probably mean the document is comprised of pictures?  This is using Adobe
Reader 7.0 and JAWS 7.0.
