What you were using was a beta which has now run out. You will have to go to the microsoft site and download and install the program again. It is not necessary to uninstall the beta. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Petrina Delves" <aunk99@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "access UK" <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, January 01, 2007 5:16 PM Subject: [access-uk] problems with window's defender. Hi all, When I booted up my computer, I had the following message come up, Windows defender application failed to initialise 0x800106ba. A problem caused windows defender service to stop, to start the service restart your computer or search help and support, on how to start a service, manually, default button ok. I all so get the same message come up, when I try to access the program from the start menu. Thanks in advance, for any help you can give with this one. All the best, and a happy new year, Petrina, Southampton UK ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
