What you were using was a beta which has now run out. You will have to go
to the microsoft site and download and install the program again. It is not
necessary to uninstall the beta.

Subject: [access-uk] problems with window's defender.

Hi all,

When I booted up my computer, I had the following message come up, Windows
defender application failed to initialise 0x800106ba. A problem caused
windows defender service to stop, to start the service restart your computer
or search help and support, on how to start a service, manually, default
button ok. I all so get the same message come up, when I try to access the
program from the start menu. Thanks in advance, for any help you can give
with this one.
All the best, and a happy new year,
Petrina,
