Alison, from memory, you need to tick a tick box in iTunes settings on your
computer which says something along the line of “download new purchases made on
other devices” to sync your music. Hope you find it.

Subject: [access-uk] purchasing songs via my Iphone
I’m still old-fashioned enough to like my favourite music to be available via
CD b but if it is just a single track, I often purchase this via my Iphone.
In the past I’m pretty sure that my Iphone then shares the newly purchased
track with my Itunes Folder on my PC but so far, the track I purchased two days
ago, still isn’t showing up, not in the track listing and not in the Purchased
Music Playlist.
I’ve tried sincing my Iphone with the computer but it is still not there.
Am I missing a step or does it take a few days for the devices to share?
