Hi Emma.

You either didn't read my email propperly or misunderstood my meaning. Either way, I was suggesting that the purchase of an electronic book might be a preference to buying an expensive scanning device and spending the time to scan, proof read and if necessary edit the text. If the book is for pleasure reading, many titles are sold on platforms like Kindle for which there is an accessible PC version and IBooks for the Iphone, Ipod, Ipad etc. This would certainly be more efficient a way of accessing the material and possibly even more convenient and considerably cheaper.

All the best, Ibrahim.

You can't do everything on your phone. Everyone wants to make
everything about their phone but their are some things that dedicated
machines like scanners can do. Yes, phone apps have their place but
they are still limited and not as strong as the hardware devices. This
is my opinion but I really think people don't always consider what
these things. Yes a phone is useful but it is not made to do the job
of what a hardware scanner can do.

Hi

Have you considered purchasing the books electronically? Many books are
available as a box on kindle all your iPhone so it is well worth looking at
this as an option as opposed to buying a dedicated scanning device.

Derek Ok many thanks I did look on there and had a read up of it,
sounds interesting I'm only thinking of one of these because I've bought in the last year four MFP printers and not one of them will scan my
books one page at a time.

Hi

Freedom the scientific and humanware do such machines. The freedom aside
to
take option is called Sarah as in scanning and reading appliance and uses
a
camera. You can also get software solutions and use either an external
flat
bed scanner all digital camera to capture the text. All the best,
Abraham.
