Yeah no problem with your way either. (smile.) I figured there would be more
than one way, and that one happens to be mine, not for any reason other than
I've done it for years and never think about it to be honest.

Jackie, that's fine, and I've no problem with your way of doing this,
but what's wrong with using F6 to move to the address field. Doing
this I find the address is already highlighted and I can simply do a
control-C to copy. It's simply I find alt-D a bit cramped to do.

What I do, and have always done successfully, is do an alt D to bring
up the address bar, then press the home key to ensure I am at the
beginning of the URL. Then I use control, shift and end keys to
select the whole address, and then control C to copy to the clipboard.
Now that works for me always, whether it's right or not! (smile.)
