OK, it sounds to me like you'd be looking for a netbook, generally these machines are compact and light ideal for travelling. Practically all new netbooks sold now have Windows 7 as standard, so is there anything specific you want? Is battery life a consideration? How much are you looking to spend?

As a totally blind person I am looking for a small, lightweight computer [netbook, notebook] that is easily accessible via a keyboard, and of course, a screen reader with Windows 7 on board. 
If a disk drive can be fitted or is fitted, that would be excellent!
