Hi all.
I was recently asked by someone about which stand alone scanner is the best and
have to say I don't know. One of the most well known is the Scannar from
Humanware and there is also My Reader, I believe it is called, sold I think by
Visionaid. Generally I suggest Kurzweil or OpenBook if people want a really
decent scanning solution though programs like FineReader also quite well on a
PC.

If I want to go for a stand alone scanner, which is currently the best? are
there any reviews anywhere? has anyone tried any stand alone models recently?

Regards

Graham
