Ok make sure you have all your data backed up .. duh hard to do sorry! Can I suggest you install Service Pack 1 as I have had this problem occur before and after installing SP1 the problem resolved itself. If you're running JAWS, any chance you could try to duplicate the problem with another screen reader before reinstalling everything? Cheers. Ian On 12 Jun 2011, at 11:34, Terry Clasper wrote: HI. Not strictly on topic but I'm hoping someone may be able to top me from having to rebuild my windows 7 laptop. Basically my problem is that I can copy files or folders. If I press control V to copy anything I get an error saying that the application has terminated in an unusual way! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the visual C runtime component and this makes no difference what so ever. I cant simply do a Windows repair as the machine is encrypted. So can anybody help with this and save be going completely round the bend and wasting an entire day tomorrow having to rebuild my machine. Thanks in advance and again sorry for the slightly off topic nature of this!
