anything should be fine these days.  I have come across few laptops that do 
not work.  The dell Lattitude range are certainly ones that I have seen 
working with JAWS.  The Lattitude D620 is quite light I think but check the 
dell website.

hi,

i am writing on behalf of a friend. she has just started university and
needs a laptop. it needs to be as light as possible as she will be
carrying it around with her but also needs to have all the latest
capabilities as well as have a fast processor and be able to work well
with jaws. what do you recommend please?
