Terry,

You can do this by amending the registry but I wouldn't bother with that 
approach as it can cause problems.  The following webpage has a little 
visual basic script for changing the title bar and setting it back to it's 
original setting which has been messed with by whoever sets up your internet 
connection.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the splash screen, or whatever it is, 
when Internet explorer opens.

e.g.
When I open I e, jaws always says, google Internet explorer, provided by sky 
broadband.  I'd like to get rid of the part that says, provided by sky 
broadband.  It might seem silly to some, but it really annoys me.
