Hi Trace
I have one of the watches you mention and it works fine and is accessible
for us.

RNIB sell them though they're out of stock until March 2007.

However if you go to:

http://www.expertverdict.com/ProductDetails.aspx?language=en-GB&product=1124414

You'll find it listed there.

I Think Argos sell it too or they certainly used to.

Hope that helps.

Malcolm

Subject: [access-uk] talking watch recommendations wanted

Hi there

My talking watch died on me the other day and I'd decided that it wasn't
that big a deal as there's a clock on my mobile phone, until I was at the
hospital yesterday where I had to keep the phone turned off.

so, I'm looking for a decent talking watch, didn't someone a while back
mention one that sets itself like the rnib's radio controlled clock does,
does this talk and did i get my facts right?

Any ideas welcome.

Trace
