[access-uk] Re: talking watch recommendations wanted

Hi David,
that's what I did a fortnight ago and 2 watches came up. I can only assume
that when they changed their catalogue, they have also changed their site
because when I type taling watches in now, when I move to search it's telling
me search unavailable, so something's changed or I am doing something wrong.

If you put talking watch in the search field, you will find that the search
will come up with two watches.

    Hi Trace
I have one of the watches you mention and it works fine and is accessible
    for us.

RNIB sell them though they're out of stock until March 2007.

    However if you go to:

    http://www.expertverdict.com/ProductDetails.aspx?language=en-GB&product=11
  24414

    You'll find it listed there.

I Think Argos sell it too or they certainly used to.

    Hope that helps.

    Malcolm

    Hi there

My talking watch died on me the other day and I'd decided that it wasn't
that big a deal as there's a clock on my mobile phone, until I was at the
hospital yesterday where I had to keep the phone turned off.

so, I'm looking for a decent talking watch, didn't someone a while back
mention one that sets itself like the rnib's radio controlled clock does,
does this talk and did i get my facts right?

    Any ideas welcome.

    Trace
