Hello Hazel and all,

Using a Samsung laptop, Windows 7, and Guide.

I have suffered similar in the past, and have discovered why it happened here,
though this does not automatically mean this is the answer to your problem.

It is all to do with, what Guide announces as, the Save email and finish it
later folder, and the status of the email, when it is sent. Here is what
happened the first time I was hit. I spent about 6 hours, constructing quite a
lot of complex chess analysis, to answer a chess problem. I was happy with the
email, and after one last check, saved it in the folder, for emails currently
being worked on. I decided to check my emails in-box, while having a coffee.
Now comes the big mistake. I returned to the folder for those emails being
worked on, and since I was satisfied the email of chess analysis was completed,
I sent it without reading it again. The body of the email, 6 hours of work,
disappeared, both in the sent email, and the email saved for my own records.

Had I just opened up the email, for one last check before sending, all would
have been fine. It was the action of re-entering the folder, for emails under
progress, and failing to open the email just before sending, which sends a
blank email.

Note, there is also a folder which Guide calls, Send saved emails later. From
there, it is possible to send a number of emails which are ready to go
simultaneously, and on selecting to send, Guide kindly counts them out as they
are sent. None of these emails will have been opened up just before sending,
and yet Somehow, these are sent correctly. It is just the folder for those
emails under progress, which can send blanks.

Finally, when I am ready to send one of those emails which had considerable
time-investment, I go through the process of forwarding it to myself, and now I
have a copy sitting in the emails under progress folder. This is never sent, it
just sits there as a back-up copy. The reason for this, is because if I lose
concentration when contemplating sending, and forget to open it, resulting in
sending a blank, then all is not lost.

Paul Benson.

Hello to all
I know there are lots of computer savvies out on the list and hope one of you

Using my Sony laptop, Windows 7, Jaws 11 and Googlemail.
the people receive them the text on the body of the email has vanished.
All that is left is the posting details.
This is so annoying as some emails have important info on them.
This even happens when I send them from my p c to Kims upstairs.
Any help would be good.
Only other answer is to dump the whole lot and believe me this is one big
possibility .
Thanks in advance.
When I forward emails and not all of them, when
