I checked in with band members last night and got a count of 40 members performing at Westminster on June 28. This would probably include a few more since we did not have all band members in attendance.
We should be able to carpool most of the members in. One of our members is a minister at a church across the Mopac from Westminster and we will use that church's parking lot as an area that members can go to and be shuttled into Westminster. We will need a place for parking at Westminster for the truck and trailer that carries band equipment.
Several members of the board have play in the Austin Brass band and have mentioned the check in system at Westminster. I am wondering if there is a way to either get a link or be able to print out the form on the tablet at checkout so that members can fill in the form prior to arriving at Westminster. That will speed up the process. Please let me know if this is something that can be done.

That was a fast response. : )

We just completed our Spring concert season with 55 players. I can definitely see if players will carpool.

I would like to get back to you in the next few weeks once I can get a better idea of the numbers of players for the Fourth of July concerts. Those numbers tend to fluctuate.

I am following up to confirm that the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble will be playing a concert at Westminster on June 28 at 7:00 p.m.

Also I would like to see if Westminster would be willing to host a holiday concert for Austin Civic Wind Ensemble on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.

Another group that I play in is the Violet Crown Flute Choir. This is an ensemble made up of players mostly from the Austin Civic Wind Ensemble flute section. I am reaching out to see if the residents of Westminster would be interested in hosting a concert for the flute choir in either the end of September or the beginning of October. The best times for the group would be either a Saturday afternoon/evening concert or a Sunday afternoon concert. The music that the group is currently working on is mostly show tunes. Please let me know if there is interest in hosting this. We would enjoy playing for the residents.
