Is the question about a piston pump?
A guy invented it in a rocket club somewhere in southern CA about 10 years ago...

piston pumps are a bit older than just a copule of years, right?

Indeed -- the discussion was about LLNL's miniature-piston-pump work, which was mostly in the late 1990s, and XCOR's piston-pump work started soon after that.

Have Screw Pumps ever been tried for this application?

only 3 parts, no pulsation.

As I understand it, they're typically pretty heavy for the flow rate. How much you care about that depends on the application.

The Stellar Exploration monoprop-hydrazine system on Capstone reportedly uses an (electric) gear pump.
