Can't wait to see the blooper reel on this one. I wonder where the
mistake took place here? You would think that after 24 (!) successful
landings of first stages they would have this down a little better.
My favorite thing today was watching this at my desk with the CTO of
my company right before we had to run out to our rocket test site. It
taking off on the first try was incredible, it landing two boosters at
the same time is the most incredible thing that has happened in
aerospace in my lifetime.
My second favorite thing is seeing the absurdity from people who think
they fell short or "should have this down a little better". No one
else in history has ever landed an orbital rocket stage or have the
ability to do so; they landed two at the same time and yet people
think they're falling short.
