There are two GPS limits that matter.
1)The COCOM limits that limit altitude and speed....
2)The acceleration limits that cause the GPS to loose lock.
What GPS modules and types have been shown to work reliably during boost
for accelerations > 6 to 10 g in the HPR community.
I'm looking for modules that don't exhibit problem #2, as problem #1 is a
political problem that might be solved if the basic
underlying technology does #2 well....
has anyone flown the really tiny Venus GPS modules on a rocket?
