Hmmm... if you spill a big pool of LOX adjacent to one of methane,
the immediate result would be rapid evaporation of both, with the
gases expanding to a volume (even at its boiling point where it would
tend to stay once out of contact with the warm surface) of large
dimension compared to the initial pools. I think that's probably
going to do a pretty good job of preparing a mixture (initially
a dense surface-hugging cloud of cold gas).
