Thanks Jon.

As I just replied to Michael off-list also, it sort of takes the momentum out of a project if you gets stranded on some small part you are missing, and have to wait a week for it. Just like scooting down to Home Depot when you need something for the house, I really need someplace local where I can drop in after work, or on a Saturday morning, and have the stuff done in minutes. Gee ... I really miss my own shop at home ;-)

Wayne is definitely capable, and if I had a need for larger or more complex parts, I would not hesitate to use him.

But again, thanks for the suggestions, they are useful in any case, possibly also for other on AR.

Wayne's a bit far from the Bay Area, but I can vouch for him doing good work, affordably, and often very very quickly. He actually just finished doing a part for me (even though I'm out in Denver these days). He's getting busier these days, but is still on my short list of machinists for quick-turnaround parts.

He was my next-door neighbor, and made parts for every rocket company you have heard of.

Yes, that's the one I remember. There is one in San Jose, very convenient.

Only, $175 for a month membership, only to use it 1 hour to turn a $0.50 part into shape, may be a bit overkill for my project. I'll see if there are ways around that

Thanks - Henrik
