People tend to do that they know how to do (a notable truth among
managers, in my experience) and so I am thinking about this in terms of
metal working rather than woodworking.
It strikes me that may be a mistake and I’d like some help on seeing how
this might be done short of special fixturing and a special tool.
Is there a time we might get to get together?

If you are using a regular rougher I have some downcut spiral bits that
will pull the router into the work to keep everything together. I'd also
be happy to make a template for you on the CNC router.

Funny, I was at Home Depot getting a router bit for my Demerol when I
got this....
Is "Demerol" the word you meant to use? Is there a tool called this
(it's a prescription drug from what I know; spell-checker run amok?)
That’s what I was thinking. It’s Dremel, I’d wager. I remember Demerol
from the drug-crazed 70s. A powerful opiate to be avoided at all costs, if
you were wise.
