This is not related to the purpose of this forum.
Not to notice that most of the referenced people had a Doctorate in
Physics.
Let us instead advance to yet another stupid survey: how many people who
are reading this conversation have a Ph.D in *any* subject?
Why not just start an obscure amateur rocket history forum where you can
speak to yourself?
Yes, I am pissed about this unending interruption of my time and, yes, I
have spoken here too sharply....

I've seen no evidence Goddard tested west of the Pecos, near Eden

Goddard was not funded by the US Army as far as I know until late in
his career, except for a brief stint at Mt Wilson and Muroc,
experimenting with solids.
I thought Goddard was originally funded to publish Method of Reaching
Extreme Altitudes c 1919, by private funding of a patron.
In Roswell, he was funded by Guggenheim, IIRC, perhaps by others, but
never by a government or military arrangement.
He had no copies of George P Sutton. There were no rocket clubs. What
constitutes an "amateur rocketeer"?
