chapter newsletter editor) I remember just starting work for a mining
company. On a trip to a favorite backpacking trail 250 miles away, I
suggested we car pool in my 4 door Honda Civic. "Too crowded" was the
reply, lets take my Suburban, it has more room. While burning up lots more
gas their discussion centered around those bad mining and oil companies and
how they are raping the land. They didn't appreciate that everything in the
Suburban was either mined or pumped from the ground.
I've spent most of my life on both sides of the fence, the only solution
is for both sides to work together.

You prolly know one, or three. "Stop wasting money with rockets to
Mars and spend that on planting trees to stop global warming,
instead!" I'm at a loss for responses other than "Let's do both." What
is your repartee to that manner of thinking?
