Just flashed through my mind: What about using PoE on the ethernet
connection? ( and jusing just that.)
I obviously can't speak for Rocketlabs :-), but even when people want to
provide communications across such an interface, life is often simpler if
*power* doesn't cross it. (This was one of the basic design rules for the
Apollo - Saturn V interface.)
