Two new yard birds were among the 45 species that showed up in my yard
today. The first was a Northern Waterthrush perched in an apple tree. Within
30 seconds and within 30 feet of the waterthrush was a Yellow-bellied
Flycatcher perched in a Black Locust tree.
With birds coming through all day my yard stream was busy with birds. I had
15 warbler species for the day. Within the last few days I have gotten a
Gray-cheeked Thrush, multiple Swainson's thrushes and a few Wood Thrushes.
